About Us

Welcome to our website!  This is a student-run site provided by Washingtonville High School's Media and Journalism Class. This course, taught by Mr. Waldie and Mrs. Connolly, is designed to teach students about all aspects of modern-day media.

 

 ​​ Throughout the course, students learn how to write and take photographs for The Wizard Weekly, write and produce podcasts, as well as produce a television show known as BGTV. The work produced over the course of the school year will be housed on this website.​​ 

 

We aim to provide our readers and viewers with an entertaining and informative look at what is happening in our school district and the community as a whole.  We hope you will tune in each week and enjoy!
